In the school year 2014/2015 we joined the "School Promoting Health" program. The program was initiated by WHO/EURO 20 years ago, currently 43 countries belong to the European Network of Schools Promoting Health, including Poland since 1991. A school that promotes health creates conditions and takes actions that are conducive to: the well-being of the school community, its members taking action for their own health and the health of others, and creating a healthy environment. After meeting all the criteria of the program, in the period from 1 to 3 years, the school may apply for the Provincial and then the National Certificate of Schools Promoting Health awarded for a period of 5 years.
