Zespół Szkół im Br. Alojzy Kosiby participates in the implementation of the "Protect Children" program. The aim of the "Protect Children" program is to protect children from violence by adults and peers. The program is implemented through the implementation of standards for the protection of children from abuse enshrined in the child protection policy established at school. Schools and institutions that meet child protection standards receive Protect Children certificates.
The implementation of the program by the school means that:
- the school has established and written procedures for intervention in case of suspected child abuse
- The school protects the child's personal data and image
- The school takes care of children's safe access to the Internet
- The school has established and written relations between the student and the school employee
- School staff are checked for no criminal record for crimes involving violence against minors
- employees are trained to recognize the symptoms of child abuse and know how to respond to them
- The school offers education to children and parents on how to protect children from harm
The program of certification of schools and institutions implementing standards for the protection of children against violence under the Government program for 2014-2016 "Safe and friendly school" is implemented by the Nobody's Children Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education.
