THE FUNDS COLLECTED BY THE PARENTS' COUNCIL ARE SPENT, AMONG OTHERS, ON THE ORGANIZATION OF TRIPS AND SCHOOL EVENTS, THE PURCHASE OF PRIZES, SANTA CLAUS PACKAGES FOR STUDENTS, ETC.
THE COMPETENCES OF THE PARENTS' COUNCIL INCLUDE IN PARTICULAR:
- Acting in all matters concerning the school to the school head and other school bodies, as well as the body managing and exercising pedagogical supervision.
- Adopting, in consultation with the Teachers' Council, an educational and preventive program
- Giving opinions on the draft financial planof the school submitted by the head.
- Giving opinions on the program and schedule for improving the effectiveness of education or upbringing.
- Giving opinions on the possibility of undertaking activities at school by an association or other organization, in particular a scout organization.
- Expressing opinions on the evaluation of teachers' work and the assessment of professional achievements.
- Requesting evaluation of teachers' work.
- Election of representatives to the selection board for the position of director.
- Giving opinions on a set of textbooks or educational materials and exercise materials.
- Giving opinions on other forms of physical education classes to be chosen by students.
- Giving opinions on additional days off from didactic and educational activities.
