Anima doll

In March 2015 our school starts participation in the project "Doll anima. Workshops on puppet building, improvisation and stop-motion animation". This project is run by the Czeczów Manor in Krakow and was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It consists of puppetry workshops, stop-motion animation workshops and music workshops, the final effect of which will be an animated film based on the text by Mr. Maciej Wojtyszko "Holidays of the Dragon Bonaventure". The duration of the project is from March to December 2015. It will be attended by children from Primary School No. 124 and 111 in Krakow and students of our school. Classes within the project are designed in such a way that they not only bring concrete effects in the form of improving the quality of children's education, but also develop the social competences of the project participants. In the case of students of our school, participation in the project will have a therapeutic value.

The hero of our fairy tale is a dragon without his own identity. To find her, he sets off into the world. Each subsequent stage of the search is finding yourself, and this happens through contact with a new type of creatures that the dragon encounters on its way. The film, which will be created as a result of students' work, will be submitted to competitions and festivals devoted to amateur animated films.

Classes within the project will be conducted by:
Alicja Karczmarska – Strzebońska – visual artist, puppet builder, cooperates with the Groteska Theatre.
Maja Kubacka – actress of the Groteska Theatre.
Grażyna Skalniak – runs projects in the field of artistic education of children and youth.
Tomasz Chołoniewski – drummer, teacher, improvised music, performs with The Volume.
Students will have the opportunity to meet as part of the project:
Maciej Wojtyszko – theatre, film and television director, author of numerous novels for children.
Prof. Jerzy Kucia – screenwriter and director of animated films, producer, teacher, graphic designer and painter.
